Papiano Welcomes

created thanks to the collaboration with the parish of Papiano which made the building available to accommodate 3 families with 4 minors, refugees from the war in Ukraine

The “Papiano Insieme” group (https://www.facebook.com/Papianoinsieme), thanks to its numerous volunteers, and numerous private donors in the area have allowed the initiative to be carried out.

The experience essentially ended very quickly and effectively. Two guests have found homes and jobs and the families are integrating. The minors are placed in the school context. A report has been activated to Caritas of Poppi which will support us in following the integration path already undertaken.

A group, made up of an elderly couple, preferred to return to Ukraine having verified conditions compatible with their return after the first phase of the major emergency.
